WHAT: Very cold wind chills ranging from 12 to 20 degrees will
impact locations along and north of the Interstate 10/12
corridor. Wind chills of 20 to 25 degrees will affect oocations
south of this corridor.
WHERE: All of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi.
WHEN: From 9 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Monday.
IMPACTS: Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged
exposure.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
