WHAT: For the Wind Advisory, southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with
gusts up to 45 mph expected. For the High Wind Watch, southwest
winds 25 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible and up to 70
mph isolated gusts in higher terrain.
WHERE: Hayden, Coulee City, Wilbur, Moses Lake, Moscow, Post
Falls, Uniontown, Plummer, Spokane Valley, Worley, Rosalia,
Ephrata, Airway Heights, La Crosse, Grand Coulee, Nezperce,
Mansfield, Soldiers Meadow Road, Downtown Spokane, Peck,
Cloverland Road, Lewiston, Creston, Culdesac, Davenport, Lapwai,
Rockford, Ritzville, Lewiston Grade, Anatone, Oakesdale, Potlatch,
Pullman, Cheney, Genesee, Mountain Road, Craigmont, Peola,
Gifford, Odessa, Coeur d'Alene, Colfax, Badger Mountain Road,
Quincy, Waterville, Fairfield, Othello, Tekoa, Kamiah, Harrington,
and Winchester.
WHEN: For the Wind Advisory, from 1 PM Monday to 6 AM PST
Tuesday. For the High Wind Watch, from Tuesday evening through
Wednesday afternoon.
IMPACTS: Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: In areas with saturated soils from previous
recent rainfall, trees and power lines could see higher impacts.
