Highest across west- facingbeaches. WHERE: Ventura County Beaches. WHEN: From midnight tonight to 6 PM PST Saturday. IMPACTS: There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Ripcurrents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Largebreaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches androcks, and capsize small boats near shore.
