The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from noon to 7 PM MDT Saturday.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 242, 243, 244, 245 and 248.

* TIMING...From noon to 7 PM MDT Saturday.

* WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 12 percent.

IMPACTS: Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a
spark and start a wildfire.

issued the following...

WHAT...Ozone Action Day Alert.

WHERE...Douglas, Jefferson, Denver, western Arapahoe, western
Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties

WHEN...400 PM Friday June 05 to 1200 AM Saturday June 06

IMPACTS...Ozone Action Day Alert is now in effect for the Front
Range Urban Corridor. on Friday, hot and stagnant conditions will
allow ozone to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups level. The
highest concentrations of ozone are expected in southern and
western portions of the Denver Metro area. On Saturday, beezy,
unsettled weather is expected, resulting in Good to Moderate ozone
concentrations. For Colorado air quality conditions, forecasts,
and advisories, visit:

possible, please help us reduce ozone pollution by limiting
driving gas and diesel-powered vehicles until midnight, Friday
