Cold Weather Advisory issued January 27 at 2:06PM EST until January 28 at 11:00AM EST by NWS Baltimore MD/Washington DC
WHAT: Very cold wind chills between 0 and 8 below expected.
WHERE: Washington DC, and portions of central, northeast,
northern, and southern Maryland, and central, northern, and
western Virginia.
WHEN: From 7 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Wednesday.
IMPACTS: The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if
precautions are not taken. Frostbite will occur if unprotected
skin is exposed to these temperatures.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Additional Cold Weather Headlines are
expected at times through the end of the week as the region
remains in an Arctic Airmass.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.
