possible.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

- Flash Flooding is ongoing across portions of the watch with
continued and additional flash flooding likely due to
additional storms today.

...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...

White River at Muncie.

.The White River near Muncie is expected to quickly rise above flood
stage later this morning with moderate flooding expected by this
afternoon. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches have been reported over
the past 24 hours with additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches
possible through today.

WHAT: Moderate flooding is forecast.

WHERE: White River at Muncie.

WHEN: Until Friday evening.

IMPACTS: At 12.0 feet, Flooding begins in four to five block area
of southeast Muncie near 16th St and S Burlington Dr and in
Smithfield. County roads and farmland flood. Water level reaches
critical stage for levees protecting the Muncie Water Treatment
Plant.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 7:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
morning to 12.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below
flood stage to 8.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It will
rise above flood stage again late tomorrow morning to 9.6
feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
again Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
