WHAT: For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
with heat index values up to 110. For the Heat Advisory, heat index
values up to 100 expected.
WHERE: Portions of central, east central, south central, and
southeast Minnesota and northwest and west central Wisconsin.
WHEN: For the Extreme Heat Warning, until midnight CDT tonight.
For the Heat Advisory, from midnight tonight to 9 PM CDT Tuesday.
IMPACTS: Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.
