WHAT: For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
with heat index values of 105 to 110. For the Heat Advisory, heat
index values 95 to 100 expected. Low temperatures tonight 75 to 80.
WHERE: Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and
Washington Counties.
WHEN: For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 9 PM CDT this evening.
For the Heat Advisory, from 9 PM this evening to 8 PM CDT Monday.
IMPACTS: Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car
interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.
