WHAT: Dangerous cold wind chills as low as 10F degrees expected.
Low temperatures from the mid teens to near 20F degrees across the
entire area.

WHERE: Portions of southeast Arkansas, northeast Louisiana, and
central, east central, north central, northeast, northwest, south
central, southeast, southwest, and west central Mississippi.

WHEN: From 6 PM this evening to 9 AM CST Monday.

IMPACTS: Frostbite and hypothermia can occur with prolonged
exposure in these dangerous cold wind chills and low temperatures.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly.
