WHAT: For the Wind Advisory, south winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts
up to 40 mph expected into this evening, shifting to northwest
tonight. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as low as
23 possible.
WHERE: Portions of central, east central, north central,
northeast, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central
Mississippi.
WHEN: For the Wind Advisory, until noon CDT today. For the Freeze
Watch, from this evening through Tuesday morning.
IMPACTS: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive
vegetation.
