WHAT: Flash flooding caused by repetitive periods of excessive
rainfall remains possible.

WHERE: The northern Piedmont and northern Coastal Plain of North
Carolina, including the following counties, Alamance, Durham,
Forsyth, Granville, Guilford, Halifax, Orange, Person, Vance and
Warren.

WHEN: Through Thursday evening.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- Waves of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rain will focus
along a slow-moving cold front and produce 2 to 4 inches of
rain, with locally higher amounts, overnight through Thursday
evening.
