Winter Weather Advisory issued December 11 at 1:30AM EST until December 12 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
WHAT: Lake effect snow. Snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches in the
most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will
produce blowing and drifting snow.
WHERE: Monroe County. The greatest accumulations will likely be
along the Route 104 corridor, especially east of Rochester.
WHEN: Until 7 AM EST Friday.
IMPACTS: Travel will be difficult at times with snow covered
roads and reduced visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact
the Thursday morning and evening commutes.

Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling,
be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
