WHAT: Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 105
possible.

WHERE: In New York, Delaware, Northern Oneida, Otsego, and
Sullivan Counties. In Pennsylvania, Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne,
Northern Wayne, Pike, Southern Wayne, Susquehanna, and Wyoming
Counties.

WHEN: From Wednesday morning through Friday evening.

IMPACTS: Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The hottest temperatures will be in urban
valley locations during the mid to late afternoon timeframes.

WHAT: Dangerously hot conditions with maximum heat index values
from 100 to 110 this afternoon, and from 95 to 105 Friday
afternoon. Temperatures will stay very warm at nigh, limiting the
ability for cooling of non air-conditioned areas.

WHERE: Portions of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania.

WHEN: Until 8 PM EDT Friday.

extreme heat and high humidity events.
