This will pose a moderate to major risk of heat-relatedillness. WHERE: Portions of North and North Central Idaho and Central,East Central, North Central, Northeast, and Southeast Washington. WHEN: From 11 AM Tuesday to 9 PM PDT Thursday. IMPACTS: Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses. Air Quality Alert Air Quality Alert issued July 20 at 12:03PM PDT by NWS Spokane WA Jul 20, 12:03 PM → Jul 22, 9:00 AM An Air Quality Alert has been issued by the following agencies:Washington Department of EcologySpokane Regional Clean Air AgencyAn Air Quality Alert has been issued for Spokane, Ferry, Lincoln,Okanogan, Grant, Pend Oreille, and Stevens Counties, effectiveimmediately through Wednesday, July 22nd at 9 AM, due to current andexpected wildfire smoke from regional fires. Particulate matter(PM2.5) levels are expected to range in the Unhealthy for SensitiveGroups and Unhealthy categories. In Eastern Okanogan County nearactive wildfires, air quality may reach Very Unhealthy to Hazardouslevels. When air quality is Unhealthy, everyone should reduceexposure.
