Moderate Expected Likely Cold Weather Advisory Cold Weather Advisory issued February 25 at 9:07PM AKST until February 26 at 12:00PM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK Feb 25, 9:07 PM → Feb 26, 12:00 PM WHAT: Very cold wind chills as low as 20 to 30 below. WHERE: Anchorage / Eagle River (all elevations). WHEN: Until noon AKST Thursday. IMPACTS: The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zerocould cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 15 minutes. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The combination of gusty winds and coldtemperatures will keep wind chills between 10 and 20 below zerothrough this evening. Temperatures are then expected to fall belowzero overnight with wind chill values falling to between 20 and 30below zero.
