WHAT: Urban and small stream flooding caused by thunderstorms.

WHERE: Portions of central and northern California, including the
following counties, Placer, Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Nevada,
Sacramento, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Sutter, Tuolumne and Yolo.

WHEN: Until 730 PM PDT Tuesday.

IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
roadways.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 124 PM PDT, Doppler radar and rain gauges indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Local emergency managers reported
flooding. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Potential for isolated mud or
rock slides in the foothills as the line of storms moves
eastward. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen in the
last 6 hours.
