WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. WHERE: Portions of northeast Florida, including the following areas, Coastal Duval, Coastal Flagler, Coastal Nassau, Eastern Clay, Eastern Putnam, Inland Flagler, Inland Nassau, Northeast Coastal St. Johns, Northern Inland St. Johns, South Central Duval, Southeast Coastal St. Johns, Southern Inland St. Johns, Trout River, Western Duval and Western St. Johns and southeast Georgia, including the following areas, Coastal Camden and Inland Camden. WHEN: Through Wednesday morning. IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: - Waves of moderate to heavy rainfall will continue to move onshore into the Atlantic Coastal areas of Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia through Wednesday morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible. WHAT: For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents. For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 6 to 7 feet. WHERE: Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida Beaches. WHEN: For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 5 AM EDT Thursday. For the High Rip Current Risk, through late Wednesday night. For the High Surf Advisory, until 5 AM EDT Thursday. IMPACTS: Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water.
