IMPACTS: Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Dangerous heat expected to persist through
Thursday. Thunderstorms may begin to bring some relief from the
heat for portions of northern Illinois by Thursday afternoon or
evening.
