WHAT: Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches.
Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

WHERE: Kent, Lake, and Newaygo Counties.

WHEN: Until 7 AM EST Tuesday.

IMPACTS: Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The worst of conditions will occur from
around daybreak on Monday through Monday afternoon. The
combination of heavy lake effect snow and strong wind gusts will
create treacherous travel conditions.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
