WHAT: Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 4 and
9 inches, greatest north and east of Columbus. Winds gusting as
high as 35 mph.

WHERE: Portions of south central and southeast Montana.

WHEN: From 5 PM this afternoon to 8 PM MST Friday.

IMPACTS: Travel will be very difficult with slick and snow covered
roads, and areas of poor visibility.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Rapidly falling temperatures combined with
rain changing to snow may result in a flash freeze on roadways late
this afternoon and evening. Travel may become treacherous during
this time.

IMPACTS: Travel could be very difficult with slick and snow
covered roads. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
evening and Friday morning commutes.
