At 402 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Greensboro, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, McLeansville, Summerfield, Gibsonville, Lake Mackintosh
Marina, Lake Guilford Mackintosh Marina, Lake Townsend Marina, Lake
Townsend, Lake Jeanette Marina, and Monticello.

WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

WHERE: Guilford county in central North Carolina.

WHEN: Until 615 PM EDT.

IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 416 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
