WHAT: Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 3 to 6
inches in the most persistent lake snows.

WHERE: Niagara, Northern Erie, and Genesee Counties.

WHEN: Until 1 AM EST Friday.

IMPACTS: Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will impact the Thursday evening commute.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Lake effect snow bands will impact Orleans,
Genesee and the far northern portion of Northern Erie County at
times through this evening.

WHAT: Bitterly cold wind chills as low as 24 below zero expected.

WHERE: Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Northern Cayuga,
Oswego, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, Chautauqua,
Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties.

WHEN: From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Friday.

IMPACTS: Bitterly cold wind chills as low as 24 below zero will
cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
exposed to these temperatures.
