WHAT: South winds 10 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 to 50 mph
expected.

WHERE: Greater Portland/Vancouver Metro, Central and Southern
Willamette Valley, Northern and Central Coast Range Valleys and
Mountains of Oregon, Foothills of the Northern and Central Oregon
Cascades, Willapa Hills and Adjacent River Valleys of Pacific and
Wahkiakum Counties, Lower Columbia River and Cowlitz River
Valleys, and South Washington Cascade Foothills.

WHEN: Until 4 PM PST this afternoon.

IMPACTS: Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The peak winds will occur for only 1 to 3
hours at any given location with gusts of 20 to 40 mph lasting for
another 2 to 3 hours after. Peak winds will begin in Lane county,
moving north into Southwest Washington through the advisory time
frame. There is a 10 percent chance of peak wind gusts 55 to 70
mph through the advisory area.
