WHAT: Hazardous temperatures in excess of 100 degrees are
forecast to develop this afternoon across valley locations in
northwest Utah, particularly along the northern Wasatch Front and
the Great Salt Lake Desert.

WHERE: Eastern Box Elder County, Great Salt Lake Desert and
Mountains, Northern Wasatch Front, Salt Lake Valley, and Tooele
and Rush Valleys.

WHEN: Until midnight MDT tonight.

IMPACTS: Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
