Additional rainfall of around 2-6inches is expected early this week. This amount of rain will putextra pressure on soil instability, leading to an increased threat oflandslides and debris flows, especially from recent burned areas.This rain event could act as a trigger for new landslides.Areas most susceptible to landslides debris flows under theseconditions are steep coastal bluffs, other steep hillsides orroad cuts, and recent burned areas.
