Flood Advisory issued April 27 at 6:46PM CDT until April 27 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Lincoln IL

WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

WHERE: Portions of central, east central, and west central
Illinois, including the following counties, in central Illinois,
Christian, De Witt, Logan, Macon, Menard, Sangamon and Shelby. In
east central Illinois, Moultrie. In west central Illinois, Morgan.

WHEN: Until 900 PM CDT.

IMPACTS: Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 646 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Springfield, Decatur, Lincoln, Taylorville, Clinton, Athens,
Chatham, Mount Zion, Auburn, Sherman, Rochester, Forsyth,
Riverton, Pawnee, Moweaqua, Maroa, Atlanta, Mount Pulaski,
