WHAT: Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

WHERE: Portions of Kansas, including the following counties,
Johnson and Wyandotte and west central Missouri, including the
following counties, Clay, Jackson and Platte.

WHEN: Until 300 PM CDT.

IMPACTS: Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- At 953 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2.5 and
4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.

Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Independence, Lee's
Summit, Shawnee, Blue Springs, Lenexa, Leavenworth, Leawood,
Raytown, Liberty, Gladstone, Prairie Village, Lansing,

WHAT: Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

WHERE: Portions of Kansas, including the following areas,
Atchison KS, Doniphan, Johnson KS, Leavenworth and Wyandotte and
Missouri, including the following areas, Andrew, Buchanan,
Caldwell, Carroll, Chariton, Clay, Clinton, Daviess, De Kalb,
Holt, Howard, Jackson, Lafayette, Linn MO, Livingston, Macon,
Platte, Randolph, Ray and Saline.

WHEN: Through Monday evening.

IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
