WHAT: Heavy snow and widespread blowing snow possible. Total snow
accumulations of 2 to 7 inches possible. Winds could gust as high
as 55 mph.

WHERE: Portions of northwest Minnesota and northeast North Dakota.

WHEN: From Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.

IMPACTS: Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are possible and may make travel
treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel could be very
difficult. Falling and blowing snow, frequently reducing
visibility below a half mile, may make travel dangerous,
especially in open country. The hazardous conditions could impact
the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.

accumulations 1 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

WHERE: Portions of north central and northwest Minnesota and
northeast North Dakota.

WHEN: From 1 PM this afternoon to 7 AM CDT Friday.

IMPACTS: Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow will lead
to areas of quick and sudden reductions to visibility, making
travel difficult, especially in rural areas that are prone to
blowing snow. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
evening and Friday morning commutes.
