The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an Air
Quality Advisory for the following counties: Columbia, Dane,
Dodge, Fond du Lac, Green, Green Lake, Jefferson, Kenosha,
Marquette, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Rock, Sheboygan, Walworth,
Washington, Waukesha.

WHAT...The PM2.5 AQI is expected to reach the Unhealthy for
Sensitive Groups level.

WHERE...Southeast and northeast Wisconsin, including portions of
south-central and central Wisconsin.

WHEN...Until 6 p.m.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions:
Sensitive groups: Make outdoor activities shorter and less
intense. It is OK to be active outdoors but take more breaks.
Watch for symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath.
People with asthma: Follow your asthma action plan and keep quick
relief medicine handy.
People with heart disease: Symptoms such as palpitations,
shortness of breath, or unusual fatigue may indicate a serious
problem. If you have any of these, contact your health care
provider.

Additional Details:
Smoke is clearing from NW to SE but it will take longer to clear
across the eastern half of the state. Continual clearing of the
smoke as well as storm activity should diminish advisory level
smoke by 6 p.m.
